Amongst the 20 is of course Prometheus, which Empire devotes a page to.
The article seems to focus a lot on the anticipation of what kind of rating Prometheus will have when it's released (PG13 or R), quoting Ridley Scott's comment about rating at Comic-Con last year.
However, the article does add a new quote from Sir Ridley, which I personally haven't seen before:
"It's hard to frighten people. I think it is easier to make people laugh. I know Ricky Gervais will tell me to go fuck myself, but actually it is harder to scare. People are numb to it now. You've got to get dramatically cleverer.The April copy of Empire should be available in stores throughout the UK now.

ReplyDeleteI have to say this made me laugh. But I do hope the monster in this movie will be more than just a transformed human.
@Dkstar There is not a chance in hell that Ridley Scott or anyone even remotely related to Prometheus would take advice from some random website about what should be in their movie.

ReplyDeleteGuy hanging from the ceiling - I guess that's referring to the adult Alien's reveal in ALIEN? When it drops down behind Brett? Although, having just seen the full March 17th trailer for Prometheus, I wonder if we might not be seeing something else up in the shadows on the ceiling...
